L. A. Country (also known as Lottie and Allen), are a duo specialising in country music for both traditional and line dance audiences.
Originally working as two solos, both had successful musical careers. Prior to joining with Lottie, Allen played lead guitar and pedal-steel with various bands, including Frank Yonco & The Everglades during which time he toured the world on American bases and as an opening act for bigger names.
He was also privileged to work with some of the biggest names in country music as a session player.
It was in a recording studio that Allen heard Lottie singing a country classic and knew then that she had found her niche. With a voice that is both beautiful and powerful and with the versatility to sing the softest ballad right through to a gutsy country rock number, he felt that together they could form a successful duo.
After joining forces in 2010, they went from strength to strength working all-over the world in hotels, at international festivals and on cruise ships.

In 2016 with ever demanding schedules and more of less living out of suitcases, they decided to pack up their worldly goods, put on their thermals and head back to the UK to focus on their love of country music.
With a programme to suit listeners and dancers including traditional and new popular country music for line dancing, they have joined the ranks of the artistes touring the UK Country Music Clubs where they continue to please audiences up and down the country.
